Canopy is not sold on its own, and it is not another Wix or Squarespace. It is the website piece of Hospitality Ground Control (HGCS): one connected system that runs a café — the register, the kitchen screens, the back office, online ordering, invoices, gift cards, loyalty, email — and the public website that sits in front of all of it. When a café joins HGCS, its Canopy site is provisioned with everything else.

The things people ask before joining
Can I buy Canopy without HGCS?
No. Canopy is provisioned as part of a Hospitality Ground Control account, alongside the register, the back office and the rest. That is what lets the menu on the website be the real menu and the online order land in the kitchen.
What does it cost?
Canopy is included with HGCS; there is no separate website fee. Pricing for HGCS as a whole is on the HGCS site.
I already have a website. Can I bring it?
Yes. Upload the HTML and the operator turns it into a Canopy template — headers and footers become shared layers, forms keep working, the colours and type become the theme. Your site then becomes editable in place.
Who edits the site day to day?
Whoever runs the café. Sign in and the live page becomes the editor. Every change is a private draft until it is published, and every published version can be restored.
Where does it run?
Each café gets its own container and its own database on the HGCS estate, next to its register and back office services. Nothing is shared between cafés.
